Meet Rafael
The owner's name is on the sign — and he's the one at the counter.
Rafael Cedillo — "Ralph" to plenty of regulars — has spent more than 25 years working on cars and is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician. In 2024 he also completed Bosch brake technology training. In July 2022 he opened Cedillo's on West Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton with a simple idea: be the one stop auto shop people can actually trust.
That means the owner diagnoses the car, explains what he found, quotes the price, and sticks to it. It means going out of the way to find a hard-to-find part. And it means treating a customer's daily driver with the same care as a classic Mustang on the next lift.
It's a family shop, and it feels like one. Customers say they come in as a customer and leave as family — one called Rafael "a new mechanic and friend."
Growing the right way
As the shop has grown, Rafael has added new help in the bays. What hasn't changed: he still checks cars in, writes up estimates and answers for the work himself. If something isn't right, you can talk to the owner — directly.
